Box Content Information
Improve your inventory management with Amazon with accurate box content information.
Each box must exclusively contain the inventory from one shipment ID. Combining multiple shipments in one box is not possible.
Provide the following on the box label:
- Merchant SKU
- FNSKU
- Condition
- Quantity Shipped
- Packing Option
Box Dimensions / Weight
Boxes should not:
Exceed 25” on any side
Boxes exceeding 25” may be subject to restriction of inbound privileges, additional fees or refusal.
Boxes exceeding 50 lbs should be clearly labeled “team left” on top and sides of box
Exceed 40 lbs when containing jewelry or watches.
Boxes exceeding 100 lbs, attach a label indicating “mechanical lift” on top and sides of box
Exceed 50 lbs unless contain one-single item over 50 lbs
Our Pallet Recommendations
If your shipment is not delivered by a small parcel carrier it must be loaded on pallets.
Here are our recommendations:
- GMA standard B grade pallets
- GMA 1A grade pallets or higher when shipping grocery products.
- GMA 1A and 1B grade pallets when shipping health, beauty, & personal care products.
- Your pallets must be wooden and 40 x 48 inch, with 4-way access.
- Please note, broken or damaged pallets are liable to be rejected at the seller’s expense.
Floor Loading Requirements
Where available and possible we recommend pallets, otherwise take these steps:
Inform your carrier that floor-loaded shipment must be identified on the carrier appointment request portal.
- When submitting the load type select Non-Palletized.
- Stack boxes into columns
- Maintain a minimum of 3 inches between column stacks and container walls.
- Ensure your stack height does not exceed 72 inches.
- Load up stacks securely using load cars or straps.
- Provide a minimum of 3 inches of space from the stack top to container room.
We recommend using spacers between stacks so nothing shifts during transit
